| Name | Description |
| A-SATURN | This Saturn emulator emulates 99% of the main CPUs and various percents of the other chips. It doesn't run any games however. |
| Cassini | Cassini is a new Saturn emulator for Windows that now has a slew of controversy around it. There are claims from many sides about the legality of it and many sides concerning simply the morality and ethics involved. It is a hacked version of GiriGiri. Until this emulator has been deemed illegal, we'll provide a download. Not sure how long that might be, so you may want to get it now. As with all Saturn emulators, a Saturn BIOS is needed. |
| GiriGiri Debugger | GiriGiri the Sega Saturn Emulator, as people like to call it, now runs commercial games! However, it has also become the commercial GiriGiri Saturn, so don't look for the newest versions here. |
| Hyperion | Hyperion is a discontinued emulator that can only display the Saturn menus and the Saturn CD Player. |
| PC-Saturn | PC-Saturn is another Saturn emulator that was discontinued before doing much. |
| Project Titan | This emulator is quite primitive and really isn't useful for much. It's open source though, so you can look at that if you wish. |
| Sat'On'Em | This was a close competitor with A-Saturn, but has been discontinued. Sat'On'Em emulates 89% of both the CPUs, and it fully emulates the memory. |
| Satan | Althogh Satan is nothing more than a Saturn CD header reader, this was the first legitimate Saturn emulator ever to come into existence. Coded by Nakasaki, this emulator has its own install program. It doesn't emulate anything, but can read CD info such as the Virtual Fighter Remix CD. |
| Satourne | This emulator has come a long way, and plays a few games. Definitely give it a try! |
| Saturnin | Saturnin is developed by Runik and is one of the major Saturn emulators out there. It can play some commercial Saturn Roms. |
| SSE | SSE is a Sega Saturn and ST-V emulator that appeared out of nowhere after a year of development and can play several games. Give it a try and visit its official page for more in depth info. |
| SSEmu | This was the first Sega Saturn emulator to actually emulate something. It emulates the Saturn Control Unit (SCU), all three Hitachi processors (partially), and music is emulated (CD-Audio). It has been discontinued, however. |
| SSF | SSF has been in development for quite some time now, and can play many commercial games. The controls are listed at the homepage Last update: 2009-01-01 |
| UltraSat | UltraSat can't play any games, but can read the copyright information from 15 different games. It has been discontinued. |
| Yabause | Yabause is a Sega Saturn emulator under GNU GPL. It currently runs on FreeBSD, GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, Windows, Dreamcast, and Wii. Yabause support booting games using Saturn cds or iso files. Last update: 2008-12-12 |
